जब किसी बच्चे की मां उसे जन्म देकर उस बच्चे को छोड़कर चली जाती है तो उस बच्चे के लिए जीवन नरक से ज्यादा कुछ नहीं। उस बच्चे के लिए जीवन से कई गुना ज्यादा मृत्यु श्रेष्ठ है। एक छोटा बच्चा जो अपने आप कुछ नहीं कर सकता। भला वह बिना अपनी मां के कैसे जीवन कैसे बचाएगा। वह कितने देर तक जीवित रह पाएगा। अगर वह जीवित भी रहा तो उसकी देखभाल कौन करेगा। उस मासूम बच्चे के जीवन में दुखों का पहाड़ टूट पड़ा। वह बच्चा बोल नहीं सकता,चिला नहीं सकता। अपने जीवन की रक्षा कैसे करेगाइससे अच्छा तो यह होता कि उसकी मां उसे जन्म देते ही मार डालती तो उस बच्चे को इतनी तकलीफ नहीं होती। उस मां को सुकून मिला कि उसने अपने ही हाथों से अपने बच्चे को मार डाला। संसार में शायद ही कोई मां ने यह पाप किया हो कि अपनी ही संतान को अपने ही हाथों मार डाला हो। उस छोटे से बच्चे को जो अभी-अभी इस दुनिया में आया है उसे अकेला छोड़कर चले जाने से कहीं बेहतर है। उसे मार डालना वह बच्चा जो अकेला एक स्थान पर पड़ा रो रहा है। उसकी देखभाल करने वाला ,उसे दूध पिलाने वाला कोई नहीं। ऐसी स्थिति में वह बच्चा कब तक जीवित रहेगा?कोई जानवर या पक्षी उसे मार डालेगा। आप सभी सोचिए क्या उस बच्चे के लिए जरूरी है, जीवन या मौत ।वह बच्चा जीवित रहे तो कैसे जीयेगा। इन हालातों में सदैव से ही मृत्यु का पक्ष मजबूत रहा है और मृत्यु ही उसका एकमात्र विकल्प है।
